The Lismore Soup Kitchen is an incorporated body whose primary aims are:
- To provide prepared daily lunchtime meals at the WInsome together with staff and resources for breakfasts at the Red Dove at the Lismore Uniting Church Mondays through Thursdays. Other items when available such as donated fruits and bread are made available to people who for various reasons are struggling to cope financially.
- To provide a place or haven for people who have difficulty interacting socially and creates a safe environment and opportunity for them to develop friendships or socially interact with one another.
- To assist and refer patrons with various physical (food and accommodation) and social (medical, counselling and welfare) needs to other organisations who are more suited to help in these situations.
- To provide short to medium term accommodation for men only at the Winsome and medium accommodation at Mazzer house in South Lismore.
